Terrain
The world is generative terrain on a solid ground color — no map imagery, top-down perspective. Each populated hex gets 0–2 blocking obstacles and 2–6 decorative grass patches. Obstacles collide at their center; tree canopies render above walking entities (step under one and it covers you) while stumps, rocks, bushes and grass lie on the ground below everyone.
Obstacles & collision
Every obstacle asset with its collision circle at the root. Moving objects avoid these exactly like they avoid each other — the obstacles just never move.
Hex population
A freshly generated center hex and its neighbors — every filled cell rolls its own obstacles and grass.
Walk the terrain
The real game setup with terrain and no enemies: move with WASD (joystick on touch), rotate with Q/E. Walk into a tree — the collision stops you at the trunk; step under the
canopy edge and it covers you.
